Pay It Forward in 10 Easy Ways: #RandomActsOfKindnessDay

Kindness. All it takes is a moment. A fraction of eternity. Pay attention. You have the power to change someone’s day – someone’s life. And it cost you a minute of your time. On February 17th, Random Acts of Kindness Day, perform as many of these little acts as you can. Let the dominoes fall around the world in a celebration of kindness!

Once you perform your first random act of kindness, you’ll be hooked. It’s addictive. And there’s science to back it. When you perform and see an act of kindness, your brain releases oxytocin, the love hormone, and serotonin, the feel-good chemical. You’ll find yourself with increased of energy, generally happier, and you may even increase your lifespan.

With all these good feelings for the giver, is a random act of kindness truly altruistic? To avoid a philosophical quagmire, we’ll assume that folks want to selflessly perform a good deed for someone else, rather than do so for the rush of oxytocin and serotonin.

No random act of kindness is too big or too small.

Here are 10 random acts of kindness you can perform on #RandomActsOfKindnessDay
