There’s nothing better to do around a campfire than to make yummy, gooey, melty, finger-lickin’- good s’mores. Here are 5 of the greatest s’mores recipes ever to be enjoyed either at home or at camp.
1. The Peanut Butter Cup S’more
An easy upgrade from the traditional classic, this s’more features a peanut butter cup wedged between two melted marshmallows and two graham crackers. The double marshmallow melts the peanut butter cup from both sides, leaving it all peanut buttery in the middle.
For extra fun around the campfire, melt your marshmallows with glow-in- the-dark skewers:

2. Candied Bacon S’mores
For a more unique and upscale option, use dark chocolate and candied bacon. The combination of sweet and savory will have guests both impressed and delighted.
To candy the bacon, simply coat strips of bacon with brown sugar, place on a foil-lined baking sheet, and bake at 400°F until the bacon is crispy (15-25 min). Transfer to paper towels to cool. Place the dark chocolate on the graham cracker, add the melted marshmallow and top with the candied bacon.

4. Roasted Berries ‘n Waffles S’mores
If you want to get more involved, this is the recipe is for you! Beautiful and nutritious, roasted strawberries, blueberries or raspberries give a delectable flavor, and paired with thin waffles, they’re unforgettable.
To assemble this treat, buy crunchy waffle cookies at the store (unless you’re incredibly ambitious and want to bake your own!). Then: Preheat oven to 450. In a large bowl, toss 1 quart strawberries (quartered), 1 pint blueberries, and 1 pint raspberries. Add 1/3 cup sugar, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract, and 1/8 teaspoon cardamom.
Spread the mixture onto a lined baking sheet. Bake until berries are soft and tender (20-25 min). Let cool.
When you’re ready to serve, put a square of milk or dark chocolate onto a waffle cookie, cover with a roasted marshmallow and top it off with the roasted berries, plus any leftover berry sauce. Absolutely delectable.
