A black cylindrical brush picks the mess off the ground and deposits them into the refuse bin. You never touch the mess!

Hurricane Spin Broom™ picks up debris only when pushed in a forward motion. The broom does not pick up debris when used in a back and forth motion.
HOW DO YOU EMPTY DEBRIS FROM THE DUST BIN?
To empty the Hurricane Spin Broom™ dust bin, hold it over your garbage can and push the dust bin button. This allows the collected debris to fall from the dust bin into your garbage. Push the door back into the base to close the bin.
THERE’S HAIR STUCK ON THE BRUSH BRISTLES. HOW DO I CLEAN THEM?
A brush cleaning tool is included with your Hurricane Spin Broom™. It is small and teeth like a fork. Start at one end of the brush and pull the brush cleaning tool gently through the brush bristles. This will untangle and loosen hair and fur. Pull loosened hair out with your fingers and dispose in the trash.
